Profile PictureGerman Schultis

Germán Schultis was born in Buenos Aires on August 12, 1975. His belonging to a family of musicians sparked his interest in music at an early age. When we asked him about it, he said that he didn't remember it since according to him "everything started as a game and still is". Regarding the guitar, he told us the following: ``Look, the guitar came into my life in a very natural way, luckily I was able to choose between many instruments, coming from a family of musicians they didn't impose a certain instrument on me, as a child I grew up sharing a lot of time in my grandmother's house where there were many instruments, piano, percussion, cello, violin, viola, flutes and of course the guitar, so it was love at first sight, it came to me in a very natural way, she called, because I was getting closer to one instrument and another and that's how the guitar came into my life'' He has trained with: Elena Ujvari: musical initiation, flute and percussion. Hans Schultis: Harmony, counterpoint, composition Gustavo Collazo: classical guitar and Latin American guitar. Francisco Rivero: jazz and improvisation. Juampy Juárez: Jazz and Improvisation. Sergio Alavarez: progressive rock, improvisation. He usually performs solo or with bands under his own name. He also acted as guitarist and arranger in "La Chilinga" band led by Daniel Buira *ex Los Piojos. He currently lives in Berlin, where he has managed to establish himself in a fairly wide music scene, he has his own independent label and works making music for film, television and theater. He also develops as a session musician and guitar teacher.
